The partnership is aimed at accelerating the localization and commercialization of next-generation brake-by-wire technologies as the automotive industry moves toward software-defined vehicle architectures and increasingly intelligent chassis systems.
The agreement marks another major step in Brembo's broader Sensify™ strategy.
According to the company, the platform has recently entered mass-production programs for leading global automakers, while additional contracts with new customers have further strengthened Brembo's position in the intelligent braking technology sector.
Sensify™ is a fully dry brake-by-wire platform that combines next-generation hardware with adaptable software architecture.
Compared with conventional electro-mechanical braking systems, the platform is designed to integrate more seamlessly into software-defined vehicle ecosystems. Brembo said the system allows automakers to deploy advanced braking functions flexibly across multiple vehicle platforms while maintaining scalability, system consistency, and long-term upgrade potential throughout the vehicle lifecycle.
Under the partnership framework, Brembo and NBHX plan to jointly support localized manufacturing, industrial deployment, and large-scale adoption of Sensify™ technology in China.
The companies said the collaboration is intended to support the rapid evolution of next-generation software-defined vehicle architectures in the Chinese market.
