Gasgoo Munich- PaXini Tech, a humanoid robotics company backed by BYD and JD, is considering a Hong Kong IPO, aiming to join the growing ranks of robotics firms seeking public listings.
Headquartered in Shenzhen, PaXini Tech traces its founding team to a veteran robotics laboratory at Japan's Waseda University. Leveraging proprietary multi-dimensional tactile sensing technology, the company has built a full product chain covering tactile sensors, the DexH series of dexterous hands, and Tora humanoid robots. It stands as one of the few domestic tech firms achieving full-stack, in-house mass production of tactile hardware.
Technologically, PaXini Tech has developed the ITPU, a multi-dimensional tactile processing unit using a 6D Hall array architecture to break the monopoly on overseas tactile components. Its flagship DexH13 biomimetic dexterous hand is equipped with 1,140 micro-sensing points and an integrated vision module. With 16 biomimetic joints capable of replicating human grasping and fine sorting, the hand supports a single-hand load of up to 5 kg and is now being supplied in bulk to 3C manufacturing and automotive assembly automation projects. On the complete robot front, the Tora series utilizes multi-modal tactile and visual fusion algorithms. These robots are already deployed across three commercial scenarios—factory inspection, healthcare rehabilitation, and warehousing—rapidly securing orders at home and abroad thanks to their competitive pricing.
In March, PaXini Tech raised more than 1 billion yuan in a funding round, pushing its valuation past 10 billion yuan and securing its place among China's eight major embodied intelligence unicorns.
People familiar with the matter said PaXini Tech is currently in talks with investment banks and could file a listing application with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in the coming months. However, deliberations are ongoing, and details such as the size and timing of the IPO have not yet been finalized.
