CHANGAN NEVO showcased three models at the show—the Q05, Q06, and A06—targeting mainstream family buyers. The Q05 will spearhead the push, launching in Spain and Italy in Q1 2027 as the brand's inaugural European product.
Deepal brought the S07 PHEV and right-hand-drive S05 PHEV, while Changan showed the CS55 PLUS Blue Whale Super HEV. Avatr globally debuted its T09 concept. Changan showcased its Blue Whale Super hybrid technology across HEV, PHEV, and REEV architectures to meet Europe's diverse driving demands.
Sales and after-sales infrastructure also took center stage. Changan rolled out its "With U" service framework for Europe. The automaker established four regional parts centers across the Netherlands, the UK, and Spain. It claims a spare-parts fulfillment rate above 97%. Pan-European roadside assistance is also in development.
Changan will open over 350 sales and service outlets across 15 European countries by end-2026, scaling to 650 locations in 2027. This year, it added national sales subsidiaries in the UK, Spain, and Italy, bringing its European total to eight.
Zhao Fei, Changan's general manager, said the company will advance its "In Europe, For Europe" localization strategy.
Chinese automakers are expanding rapidly into Europe. Competition now extends beyond product and price into distribution, service, and local operations.
For Changan, NEVO's addition to the European lineup increases the stakes. The challenge is converting this multi-brand footprint into sustained sales and a durable local service network.
