Gasgoo Munich- Changan Auto's latest production and sales figures show the company sold around 270,600 new vehicles in March 2026 — a 78% increase from the previous month.
Performance in the new energy vehicle (NEV) sector was notable, with sales hitting 89,600 units for the month. That represents a 112% surge from February, exceeding the overall growth rate.
Overseas markets showed similar performance. March overseas sales reached 103,900 vehicles, climbing 60% month-on-month and topping the 100,000-unit monthly threshold for the first time — a significant milestone for the company's international strategy.

Looking at individual brands, Changan NEVO sold 36,875 units in March, rising 102% from February to extend its upward trend. DEEPAL reached 31,742 units, up 88%, reflecting steady market improvement. Avatr, for its part, sold 5,143 units, maintaining a stable development trajectory.
In its traditional strongholds, Changan's UNI series (including the CS75 line) recorded sales of 103,900 units in March, a 74% monthly rise that continues to support the company's volume. Changan Kaicheng contributed 28,100 units, jumping 94% and showing resilience in the commercial vehicle sector.
Overall, all of Changan Auto's business segments achieved month-on-month growth in March. The NEV penetration rate rose to 33.1%, while the share of overseas sales hit 38.4%. The figures highlight a positive trend where self-owned brands, new energy, and international business are driving growth in tandem.
