Shanghai, July 6 (Gasgoo.com) Chongqing Changan Automobile Co.(000625.SZ) said in a statement its June sales jumped 66 percent from a year earlier, China Securities Journal reports.
Changan Auto sold 126,034 vehicles in June, up 65.9 percent from a year earlier. In the first half of this year it sold 660,219 vehicles, up 34.8 percent from a year earlier.
Sales by Changan Ford Mazda Automobile Co. Changan's joint venture with Ford Motor Co, rose 75.6 percent from a year earlier to 29,642 units in June. Sales of the venture rose 20.0 percent year on year in the January-June period to 140,438 units.
