Yesterday, reporters got the news that the new B301 car, positioned as a crossover small MPV model, is expected to make its debut at the Chongqing International Auto Show to be held at the twelfth Chongqing International Convention & Exhibition Centre on June 10th-14th.
Outside, the B301car appears to be an MPV model, but more pure movement, and is a classical Crossover model. Similar to the Ben Ben in appearance, the car, however, has a larger size and longer wheelbase, and ground clearance is higher as well.
In addition, the car has increased the body largely surrounded by a roof luggage rack, rear spoiler, and other kits, based on the Crossover model.
Inside, the car keeps the sporty design style, with a black interior matching silver trim and dark-colored fabric seats, using the console silver panel and central-positioned trip computer screen on the roof. Moreover, multi-functional buttons, such as volume control, mute, song switching, audio mode adjustment and so on, have been integrated into the steering wheel.
The Changan B301 car reportedly features the 4- speed automatic transmission and 5- speed manual transmission, and will be powered by the same1.3L engine as the Ben Ben in its early launching.
Later, Changan will launch a model, equipped with the 1.5L engine. The B301 car will go on sale, with a price range between the Ben Ben Series and Yuexiang car, at 50,000-70,000 yuan ($39,000-$55,000).
