The automaker sold 233,800 vehicles overall in October. Overseas sales surged 77.3% year on year and 8.8% month on month to 102,400 units. New-energy vehicle (NEV) sales, meanwhile, climbed to 140,500 units — an 18.0% annual gain and a 17.4% sequential increase. Both the overseas and NEV segments posted gains on a yearly and monthly basis.
By brand, Changan Qiyuan recorded global sales of 63,648 units in October, a 22.24% sequential gain. DEEPAL sold 32,602 units, and AVATR sold 7,056 units. The broader market is slowing: the China Passenger Car Association estimates October retail sales of narrow passenger vehicles at roughly 1.6 million units, a 28.9% annual decline. However, NEVs now account for roughly 60% of Changan's own sales mix.
