Gasgoo Munich- Changan Automobile and Honor have officially launched their "Joint Innovation Open Laboratory." This marks a major upgrade in their three-year cross-sector partnership. Leveraging Changan's Tianshu Intelligent Test Center, the automaker became the first to receive Honor's joint certification authorization. This sets a new benchmark for integrating smartphone and automotive ecosystems.
The partners established a full-chain collaborative system spanning development, testing, and certification. This moves beyond single-function adaptation to deep technical ecosystem co-construction. With the lab operational, their latest achievements are entering mass production. The all-new Deepal S05 will be the first to feature Honor Smart Connect 3.0. It delivers a comprehensively upgraded interactive experience between phone and vehicle.

Honor Smart Connect 3.0 supports diverse connectivity methods like mobile screen mirroring. It also features integrated in-vehicle list casting. The system intelligently switches between picture-in-picture and full-screen modes. It adapts based on whether the vehicle is in motion or parked. While driving, the compact window displays navigation details for safety. When parked, a click switches to full screen for immersive entertainment. This realizes the concept of 'phone content, car display.' Additionally, the partners bridged the cross-end voice interaction chain for the first time. Users can control mobile apps by waking the vehicle's voice assistant. This enables hands-free operation across all scenarios.
Changan and Honor's cross-sector collaboration has advanced steadily over three years. A joint development team was formed in 2023. Honor Smart Connect 1.0 debuted in 2024. Version 2.0 launched with the mass production of the Deepal S05 in May 2025. Changan was named an Honor Gold Partner in October 2025. To date, Honor Smart Connect technology is equipped across 21 Changan models. This validates its market maturity and user approval.
