Gasgoo Munich-On August 3. Changan Mazda began rolling out a new over-the-air update for the MAZDA EZ-60 on Saturday. Rather than tweaking hardware functions like autonomous driving or chassis control, the update focuses on expanding the smart cockpit ecosystem. The automaker added 15 applications across four categories to cover diverse driving scenarios, aiming to extend the vehicle’s lifecycle through software iteration and keep the cabin experience fresh.
The new applications are clearly categorized by usage scenario, catering to the varied needs of multiple passengers. The multimedia section now includes Yangship Video, Tujuhe Short Dramas, and a lite version of Kuwo Music, ensuring that everyone finds suitable entertainment—whether on a highway cruise or while parked at a campsite. On the information front, The Paper and Archimedes have been added, allowing drivers to catch up on headlines or listen to radio broadcasts during their commutes, filling the gaps in fragmented travel time.

To address downtime during parking waits or outdoor camping, the infotainment system now features classic lightweight games like Tetris, Gomoku, and Minesweeper. These low-demand applications add playability to stationary moments, aligning with the daily habits of family travel.
Unlike many automakers that concentrate OTA updates on driving dynamics, this upgrade leans heavily into lifestyle scenarios. It represents a targeted optimization by Changan Mazda, addressing the full spectrum of user needs.
Since the EZ-60’s launch, the brand has maintained a steady cadence of OTA updates. Previous releases refined driving-related features like the glasses-free 3D HUD navigation and custom parking. This latest round, however, fills gaps in cabin entertainment, news, and leisure. The goal is to let the EZ-60 balance Mazda’s signature driving dynamics with the practicality of a smart cockpit—merging the "Jinba Ittai" driving philosophy with the demands of a modern, intelligent family car.
On the sales front, Changan Mazda has introduced limited-time incentives valid through August 31. Customers purchasing any EZ-60 model during this period can access a national trade-in subsidy of up to 20,000 yuan, stacked with four exclusive brand benefits: a replacement subsidy of up to 7,000 yuan, lifetime spontaneous combustion protection worth 7,999 yuan (regardless of owner or mileage), a 3,000 yuan free options fund, and a financial plan featuring zero down payment and five-year low interest with an annual rate as low as 1.99%. These offers aim to lower the barriers to ownership across trade-ins, insurance, customization, and financing.
