Previously, Chang-An Auto and Nanjing City Government signed a strategic agreement to improve Chang-An's production capacity in Nanjing. The Chang-An Ford JV is set to see its production capacity increased, and Chang’an Mazda are set to increase their production capacity also.
This year Chang-An revealed its '2015 plan' which will see Chang-An's own vehicle range, including minivans and self developed car, achieve sales of 3.7 million sales per year, and by 2018 Chang-An are aiming for sales of 5.7 million cars, which will see its sales aims higher than SAIC, FAW, and Dongfeng.
