Notably, in 2025 Chery Group posted breakthroughs across four fronts: sales, exports, new energy, and quality.

Sales breakthrough: full-year sales came in at 2,806,393 vehicles, and its global user base totaled 18,530,000.

Export breakthrough: December exports stood at 144,430 vehicles, up 46.8% year on year, marking the first time monthly exports topped 140,000; full-year exports amounted to 1,344,020 vehicles, an increase of 17.4%; cumulative exports reached 5,850,000 — setting records among Chinese automakers for single-month, annual and cumulative exports. Chery has led Chinese brand passenger-car exports for 23 straight years.

New-energy breakthrough: full-year NEV sales totaled 903,847 vehicles, up 54.9%.

Quality breakthrough: Chery received a nomination for the China Quality Award and ranked first among domestic brands across five J.D. Power-certified metrics — new-vehicle quality (IQS), sales satisfaction (SSI), customer service (CSI), product appeal (APEAL) and vehicle dependability (VDS) — becoming the only local "five-crown" winner. In total, 60 models have earned five-star safety ratings from various global bodies, topping Chinese auto brands.

Chery Groups main passenger-car brands, meanwhile, pressed their advantage. The Chery brand recorded sales of 1,700,940 vehicles; EXEED, 120,369; JETOUR, 622,590; iCAR, 96,989; and LUXEED, 90,493.

Behind the strong numbers is Chery’s forward-looking planning and steady execution.

Consider its "oil–electric synergy" approach, which builds a diversified lineup to meet global demand. Guided by its "China New ICE" strategy, Chery rolled out benchmark models such as the fifth-generation Tiggo 8 and the all-new Tiggo 9X — giving ICE cars an "electric-like" and "smart" experience. In new energy, more than 90% of the fresh models launched in 2025 were NEVs. Standouts including the Fengyun A9L, Zongheng G700, Fengyun T11, LUXEED R7, iCAR V23 and JAECOO 5 helped lift the group’s NEV sales, moving it into the industry’s top tier.

Looking to 2026, Chery Group aims to stay on a high-quality growth path, targeting a full-year sales growth rate that outpaces the industry by another 10–20 percentage points — accelerating its push to become a global high-tech ecosystem company that users love and trust.
