Gasgoo Munich-Chery Automobile released its 2025 annual performance report on March 18, according to Gasgoo. Data shows the company generated 300.29 billion yuan in revenue during the reporting period, up 11.3% year-on-year. Profit attributable to shareholders climbed to 19.02 billion yuan, surging 34.6% as profitability improved significantly. The report indicates Chery's gross profit reached 41.44 billion yuan, with a gross margin of 13.8%, edging up slightly from the previous year.

In terms of sales, Chery's annual volume reached 2.63 million vehicles in 2025, an 8% increase. Among its five major passenger vehicle brands, Luxeed stood out with 90,493 units sold — a 56% surge. iCAR followed with 96,989 deliveries, up 47%, while JETOUR moved 622,590 cars, gaining 10%. The flagship Chery brand sold 1.7 million vehicles, a 6% rise. EXEED, however, saw sales slide 15% to 120,369 units.
Reflecting on 2025, Chery was active on the strategic front. The company successfully listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on September 25, opening a new chapter in international financing. On the technology side, Chery hosted a Global Innovation Conference on October 18, showcasing solid-state battery breakthroughs and targeting 2027 for the first vehicle validation. It also plans to establish 26 overseas R&D centers in the coming years, accelerating its shift toward becoming a "global high-tech ecosystem group." Exports, meanwhile, climbed 17.4% to 1.34 million vehicles, securing the top spot among Chinese automakers for overseas shipments. The maker also broke into 15 European markets, including the UK, Spain, and Italy.
