Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On January 6, Chery Group unveiled its sales targets for 2026, setting a group-wide goal of 3.2 million vehicles, representing a 14.03% increase from 2025. Within that figure, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., together with its five core brands, aims to deliver 3 million vehicles, up 14.01% year on year.

According to the company, Chery Group sold a total of 2,806,393 vehicles in 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. Chery Automobile accounted for 2,631,381 of those deliveries, up 8% from the previous year, underscoring steady growth across the group's core operations.
All of Chery's major passenger vehicle brands posted stable growth in 2025. The Chery brand remained the mainstay with annual sales of 1,700,940 units, while EXEED sold 120,369 vehicles. JETOUR recorded 622,590 units for the year, iCAR reached 96,989 units, and LUXEED posted annual sales of 90,493 vehicles.
Notably, Chery Group highlighted 2025 as a year of breakthroughs across four key dimensions: overall sales scale, exports, new energy vehicles and quality performance.
In terms of scale, total vehicle sales reached 280,639 units for the year, bringing Chery's global user base to 18.53 million.
Exports also hit new highs. In December alone, Chery Group shipped 144,430 vehicles overseas, a surge of 46.8% year on year and the first time monthly exports exceeded 140,000 units. For the full year, its exports totaled 1,344,020 vehicles, up 17.4%. Cumulative exports up until now reached 5.85 million units, setting new records among China's self-owned automakers for monthly, annual and cumulative export volumes.
New energy vehicles (NEVs) emerged as another major growth engine, with Chery Group selling 903,847 NEVs in 2025, representing a sharp year-on-year increase of 54.9%.
