From January to October, Chery Group sold 2,502,723 vehicles, up 9.3% year on year. NEV sales totaled 999,417 units, rising 43.2% and already surpassing the group's full-year NEV sales in 2025. Exports reached 1,751,766 vehicles, an increase of 64.8%.

NEV sales and exports drive growth

NEVs were a major contributor to Chery's sales performance. The company attributed the growth to the rollout of several new models. The Luxeed V9 has recorded more than 30,000 cumulative deliveries, setting a delivery-speed record for MPVs priced above RMB 500,000, according to Chery. The Fulwin A9 ranked first in sales among all-electric mid-size cars priced between RMB 100,000 and RMB 150,000. The new Jetour Traveller 7 received more than 10,000 orders within 30 minutes of launch, while the new QQ3 has recorded monthly sales of more than 10,000 units for seven consecutive months.
Exports also continued to expand. In the first three quarters, Chery sold 292,000 vehicles across 24 European countries, up 182% year on year. NEV sales in the region exceeded 146,000 units, increasing 251%. The company also ranked first in the UK vehicle sales market in both August and September. Among its overseas models, the iCAR V23 has recorded more than 100,000 sales globally, while the JAECOO 7 sold 15,470 units, becoming the first Chinese vehicle to enter Europe's top 10 model sales rankings.
At the Paris Motor Show in October, Chery showcased its CHERY and OMODA & JAECOO brands, further expanding its product lineup for the European market.

Technology development and commercialization

At its Global Innovation Conference on October 20, Chery unveiled its Yaoguang 2035 strategy, built around one technology foundation and four areas of freedom. The strategy aims to extend technologies developed for AI-powered vehicles into fields including robotics, Robotaxi services, electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, energy and agricultural machinery.
More than 10 technologies were presented at the conference. They included the Xunlong ultra-fast charging system, which Chery says can add 500 km of range in five minutes; an AC vehicle-to-grid (V2G) system described by the company as the industry's first commercial deployment; factory-installed L4 Robotaxi technology; China's first fully autonomous crewed compound-wing eVTOL; the CheryMind large language model; the Ziwei chip; and an AI agent for electrical agricultural machinery.
Chery has also put its V2G technology into operation, with the launch of what it describes as the industry's first large-scale vehicle-grid interaction facility. The system allows vehicles to feed electricity back into the grid to help balance peak and off-peak demand. Chery plans to build 20,000 V2G stations worldwide by 2029, with the first installations planned for Shanghai, Hefei, Guangzhou and Wuhu.

Global user base and outlook

By the end of October, Chery had more than 21.03 million users worldwide, including over 7.59 million overseas users. The company said it will continue to pursue its Globalization 3.0 strategy, using technological innovation to support product development and market expansion as it works toward becoming a global AI-driven technology ecosystem company.
