Under the agreement, Chery will adopt Qualcomm's Snapdragon® Digital Chassis portfolio. This includes the Snapdragon® Cockpit Platform Premium for AI-driven cockpit experiences, the Snapdragon Ride Platform Premium for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and the Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC designed for central computing architectures. These technologies will support intelligent upgrades across Chery's multi-brand, multi-tier vehicle lineup.

In the smart cockpit sector, the partners will leverage the Snapdragon® Cockpit Platform Premium to explore on-device large model applications in automotive scenarios. They aim to develop next-generation solutions for high-end and mainstream models in the Chinese market, targeting rapid response times, seamless multi-screen interaction, and immersive in-vehicle entertainment. This move further advances Chery's vision of "AI emotional equality."

The FREELANDER luxury tech brand, a joint venture between Chery and Jaguar Land Rover, sees its debut concept car, the CONCEPT 97, become one of the world's first vehicles to feature the Snapdragon Cockpit Platform Premium (Snapdragon 8397).

In the field of driver assistance, the companies will co-develop intelligent solutions based on the Snapdragon Ride platform. Several new Chery models utilizing this platform are slated to hit the market successively throughout the year.

For cockpit-driving integration, the collaboration will use the Snapdragon Ride Flex SoC to bridge data silos between the cockpit and driving systems. This initiative aims to simplify software and hardware integration while delivering unified upgrades in perception, decision-making, and interaction. By enabling scalable and cost-effective integration for more models, the strategy supports Chery's goal of "AI product equality." Multiple new Chery models based on this platform are currently in development and are scheduled to launch this year.
