China auto exports in July double to 46,500 vehicles

Shanghai, August 11 (Gasgoo.com) Chinese automakers exported 46,500 vehicles in July, up 107% from a year earlier, but down 10.33% from June, according to statistics released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers(CAAM).

Exports of China's passenger vehicles in July reached 25,500 units, up 1.61% over the same month last year. While China's commercial vehicles jumped 66.05% year on year to 21,000 units.

In the first seven months of this year, China saw its auto exports grow 75.33% to 288,900 units compared with the same period last year.

The top five automakers by January-July exports are Chery Auto (46,900 units), Changan Auto (36,000 units), Great Wall Motor (32,800 units), Dongfeng Motor (25,500 units) and Beijing Auto (20,900 units).
