Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Feb 15th) GAC in China has planned a new domestic brand which is named Run Pard.
Run Pard will form three platforms including C12、CP2 and GX in the future. Eight models are expected to be produced within which the first model, five-seat SUV produced on the CP2 platform, will be brought to market in June of this year. In addition, models like alternative energy SUV and large SUV are also covered in the plan.
Passenger vehicles of ZX Auto of GAC will be sold through distributing channels of Run Pard in the future. ZX Auto of GAC is a joint venture established by GAC and China ZX Auto. The annual sales of ZX Auto of GAC only reached 2,671 units in 2015, performing worse compared with other domestic brands in China.
Though having spared no effort to develop itself last year, ZX Auto of GAC still failed to expand the market. Therefore, GAC develops Run Pard. Now Run Pard is recruiting franchisers.
But the subsequent development of ZX Auto of GAC has not yet been clear.
