China to invest RMB100 bln to develop new-energy vehicles

A development plan for new-energy cars will be published soon, reports China Business News. The Chinese government intends to invest 100 billion yuan over the next ten years in new-energy auto development.

The state grid will build 4,000 auto charging stations between 2011 and 2015. At the end of this year, total investment in the stations will exceed 300 million yuan.

Shares of FAW Car (000800) slid 0.88 percent to trade at 17.92 yuan at close yesterday.
