In the first seven months, China's auto production reached 5.11 million units, up 23% from a year earlier, while auto sales reached 5.01 million units, up 25% from a year earlier, according to the statistics released by China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
The output of passenger vehicle in the first seven months reached 3.6 million units, up 21%, while the sales of passenger vehicles reached 3.54 million units, up 23% year on year.
In the sedan segment, the output increased 24% to 2,700,000 units; sales increased 26% to 2,640,000 units.
