China’s Hexie Auto Invests on Developing GV Business in Jiang Xi Province

Gasgoo (Shanghai, November 2)—Shanghai Yiwei Industry Co., Ltd., held the signing ceremony where the company announced to launch project of producing 300 thousand units of green vehicles, in Shang Rao City, Jiang Xi Province, China, on October 30.

Reportedly, Yiwei has invested about 13.3 billion RMB on establishing factories allowing annual production capability of 300 thousand units of green vehicles including electric SUV, electric MPV and others. Besides, there may be PACK production line to be built for producing battery.  

On behalf the local government, Mao Weiming, vice governor of the province, has shown great appreciation for that investors, which include Tencent, Foxconn, Hexie Auto and others, have invested on developing alternative energy vehicles in Jiangxi. 

With abundant resources, advanced technology and complete industry chain, Jiang Xi province has turned out to be a great place for running business of green vehicles, as Mao pointed out on the ceremony.  Moreover, governmental policies implemented recently has also encouraged development of the business. Therefore, the local government welcomes more sustainable investment from companies for effective operation of the project to develop green vehicle business.

As for the local government, they may try their best to promote development of green vehicle business by launching encouraging policies and proving public service of high quality, as Mao said.
