Beijing (Gasgoo)- On Jan 6, Chery Group announced its 2026 sales target: the group is aiming for 3.20 million vehicles, up 14.03% from 2025. Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. 9973.HK (hereinafter "Chery Automobile") and its five brands are set to reach 3.00 million in sales — a 14.01% year-on-year increase.

Company data show that Chery Group sold 2.81 million vehicles in 2025, up 7.8% year on year, while Chery Automobile's full-year sales came in at 2.63 million, up 8%. Major passenger-car brands under the group posted steady gains: Chery at 1.70 million; EXEED at 120,369; JETOUR at 622,590; iCAR at 96,989; and LUXEED at 90,493.
Notably, in 2025, Chery Group recorded breakthroughs across four areas: sales, exports, new energy and quality.
Sales saw a fresh breakthrough: full-year sales reached 2.81 million vehicles, and global cumulative owners climbed to 18.53 million.
Exports set a new benchmark: December exports rose 46.8% year on year to 144,430 vehicles, topping 140,000 in a single month for the first time; full-year exports totaled 1.34 million, up 17.4%; cumulative exports hit 5.85 million — setting records for Chinese automakers across single-month, annual and cumulative exports. Chery has led Chinese-brand passenger-car exports for 23 consecutive years.
New energy posted another breakthrough: full-year NEV sales reached 903,847, up 54.9%.
