As Dongfeng Honda's first independently operated direct-sale store, the facility is designed to merge brand showcasing, user experience, and sales services into a unified space. Once operational, it is expected to streamline the regional auto circulation network and give a fresh boost to consumer spending.

Established in 2003, Dongfeng Honda has deepened its roots in the Wuhan Economic Development Zone for over two decades, standing as a mainstream joint venture in China's auto market. The company is now accelerating its pivot to electrification, building a new energy product lineup that spans sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. Across the country, its footprint includes 410 authorized dealerships and a network of over 300 direct-sale and franchise outlets.
In terms of sales, Dongfeng Honda delivered 17,583 units in February 2026 — a 10.1% year-on-year increase that marks a second straight month of growth. The CR-V led the charge with a 13.2% gain, while the Inspire and HR-V jumped 47.5% and 303%, respectively, forming the core pillars of this expansion.
As Dongfeng Honda's stronghold, the Wuhan Economic Development Zone remains focused on supporting industry leaders. Guided by new energy, intelligence, and high-end manufacturing goals, the zone is refining its automotive supply chain to build the "Auto Valley" innovation corridor and a new "Auto+" ecosystem. Additionally, it has organized touring auto shows for three consecutive years to spur consumption, helping vehicles "Made in Auto Valley" gain wider market traction.
A representative from the Wuhan Intelligent Automotive Software Park pledged to further optimize the business environment, supporting companies as they deepen local roots and bolster the market competitiveness of the "Auto Valley" brand.
