The second-generation D9 officially hit the market on April 27, offering six variants across plug-in hybrid and electric powertrains with price tags ranging from 359,800 to 469,800 yuan. It stands as the world's first mass-produced MPV equipped with the second-generation Blade Battery and flash-charging technology. Positioned as a flagship tech-luxury MPV for both business and family use, the vehicle has faced persistent scrutiny from prospective buyers regarding the timeline for Apple CarPlay integration since deliveries began. This latest response finally provides a clear window.
The same Q&A session also revealed that development of a new user interface for the DENZA N7 is underway, with an over-the-air update expected in the first quarter of 2027. Addressing the issue of internal combustion engine vehicles occupying charging spots, the company pledged to strengthen station management and refine mechanisms to prevent such blockages.
While the current guidance points to the second quarter of 2027, the company noted that specific rollout plans remain subject to adjustment, with final details to be confirmed in future notices.
