The Z9GT introduces technologies including flash charging and the second-generation Blade Battery to the Thai market for the first time, according to DENZA.
The launch event combined contemporary Thai art with automotive technology to showcase the Z9GT' s design and performance. An interactive demonstration of the vehicle' s driving and handling capabilities, enabled by DENZA's Yi San Fang Platform, was also presented at the event, highlighting the brand' s approach to new energy vehicle technology.
At the event, Liu Xueliang, vice president of BYD Co., Ltd. and general manager of BYD' s Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, said that BYD has continued to focus on technological innovation in new energy vehicles and green energy over the past two decades.
Liu said BYD currently has more than 123,000 R&D engineers and operations spanning six continents and 121 countries and regions, with cumulative global new energy vehicle sales exceeding 17 million units. In August, BYD completed construction of its 10,000th FLASH charging station in China and plans to continue expanding its flash-charging technology globally, he added.
Liu also noted that DENZA has expanded into 13 Asia-Pacific markets. The launch of the Z9GT in Thailand represents another step in DENZA' s expansion across the region, with BYD planning to continue working with partners to offer Thai consumers new energy vehicles combining luxury, design and technology.
With the Z9GT now launched in Thailand, DENZA has further expanded its product presence in the Asia-Pacific market. The company said it will continue to focus on technological innovation and expand its products and services, bringing more new energy vehicles combining performance, luxury and advanced technologies to consumers in Thailand and across the wider Asia-Pacific region.
