Qashqai to be China made
It is reported that Dongfeng Nissan will invest in the new models Qashqai which will debut in 2008.
Qashqai has three engines as alternatives: a 1.5L diesel, 1.6 L and 2.0 L gasoline engine, Priced at 207,700 -249,300 yuan. Dongfeng Nissan will launch Qashqai 2.0 liters for gasoline engine models, and prices will be lower than the imported models, about 200,000 yuan. Its direct competitors are Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4 and the forthcoming Mazda CX-5 to be launched in 2008.
