Gasgoo Munich-Dongfeng Motor's self-developed "Dongfeng Taichi Large Model" system has officially secured regulatory approval from the Cyberspace Administration of China for generative AI services, Gasgoo learned on March 18. The filing marks a critical step forward for the automaker in building a systematic AI framework and ensuring compliant deployment.

Serving as the core engine of Dongfeng's "One Core, Two Foundations, Dual Elements" intelligent strategy, the Taichi model is an enterprise-scale system built on proprietary AI technology. Powered by the Dongfeng Qingtian computing platform and high-quality datasets, it features multi-modal fusion, high-precision interaction, and full-scenario coordination. With over 100 billion parameters, the model integrates more than 1 billion sets of autonomous driving data and over 10 million sets of cockpit image-text data. This enables intelligent collaboration across smart products, R&D, operations, manufacturing, and sales and after-sales services.
The model operates on a "dual-wheel drive" logic to generate value. On the user side, it deeply empowers intelligent driving and cockpit systems by creating embodied agents that offer precise feature explanations and personalized services, elevating the mobility experience.
