Shanghai, March 25 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Nissan’s new Selphy model is set for official launch on April 8, according to a report from Chongqing Commercial News yesterday. For Dongfeng Nissan, the new Selphy will be their first modified model in 2009.
Based on the present model, the new Selphy will have a rebirth with car body’s expansion, equipment upgrade as well as price reduction. To be the full-size flagship family car, the new Selphy has reset its target groups from the former business clients to the family customers. And respectively, its main competitors are switched to the A-class cars such as Toyota Collora and Honda Civic as well.
Noticeably, the vehicle has remarkably extended its car body to 4,665mm, which is 55mm longer than the old model; while the wheelbase length is still 2,700mm.
The new Selphy's selling price may start from 150,000 yuan ($22,000) in the Chinese market.
