Shanghai, July 22 (Gasgoo.com) French carmaker PSA will introduce its revamped Peugeot 206 sedan in its Chinese joint venture Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co (DPCA), reports Beijing Reference News today.
Earlier rumor said DPCA would produce the Iranian Peugeot 206 version, which was denied later by DPCA sources. "The new model has nothing to do with the Iranian Peugeot 206," sources said.

The upcoming Peugeot 206, based on the Peugeot 207 European version in looks and interior, is revamped for catering to Chinese market tastes, sources familiar with the matter said. The model will also inherit the distinctive Peugeot "big mouth" style.
The new model reportedly will go through big changes in dimensions. The Peugeot 207 European version measures 4.03m at length, 1.72m at width and 1.47m at height, much bigger than the existing 206 version in China market.
