Gasgoo Munich- On Sept. 4, Lu Fang, chairman of Voyah Automotive Technology, announced the new flagship MPV — the Voyah Dream 9 — will break with industry convention by skipping a traditional offline launch event when pre-sales open on Sept. 5.
Lu Fang said the decision followed careful deliberation: the team is not canceling the launch itself, but rather the redundant marketing hype. "Before we tell people how good the Dream 9 is, we want users to experience it first and hear what they have to say. Let them decide if it is good enough."

Lu Fang emphasized that a true flagship does not need a stage to define it, nor does it need the manufacturer to sing its own praises. Instead, it requires users to experience it firsthand and earn their genuine recognition. "You are only as good as users say you are. A truly powerful car should not just be powerful inside a launch hall."
The Voyah Dream 9 represents the pinnacle of deep integration between Voyah and Huawei. It was also built on feedback from 200,000 existing owners. The vehicle aims to set a new benchmark for high-end new-energy MPVs in China. Starting Sept. 5, demo units will arrive at dealerships across the country. Voyah is inviting customers to inspect them up close, take a seat, and get behind the wheel.
Lu Fang also called on industry peers to step away from the marketing rat race and return to the fundamentals of carmaking. He urged focusing energy on refining products, improving experiences, and driving innovation to reward users with genuine product strength.
