Built on Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride Elite (SA8797P), the Zenith is positioned as a central computing solution designed to accelerate the convergence of smart cockpits and advanced driving systems, a direction increasingly seen as critical to next-generation intelligent vehicles worldwide.
At the hardware level, the Zenith leverages the 4nm SA8797P chipset to deliver high-performance, heterogeneous computing. ECARX highlights its ability to support demanding workloads across infotainment, safety-critical ADAS functions, and AI-driven applications on a single platform. Paired with the company's Cloudpeak® cross-domain software stack, the system adopts a modular and open middleware architecture, enabling automakers to tap into its full AI potential while maintaining automotive-grade reliability. This architecture is also designed to support emerging use cases such as generative AI-powered in-cabin interaction and end-to-end advanced driver assistance enabled by next-generation vision-language-action models.
From an ecosystem perspective, the Zenith is built with global deployment in mind. Its compatibility with major in-vehicle operating environments—including Flyme Auto, Google Automotive Services and Android Automotive OS—gives OEMs greater flexibility to develop unified cockpit-and-driving experiences while streamlining development and certification for international markets.
ECARX said the launch of Zenith marks the starting point of a broader push to build an end-to-end intelligent vehicle ecosystem, spanning hardware, operating systems and application layers in collaboration with global partners. The platform has already entered validation and testing, with mass production targeted for 2027.
ECARX Chairman and CEO Ziyu Shen said the company sees the Zenith as a foundational technology for the industry's next phase of intelligent evolution. He noted that ECARX's solutions have already been deployed in more than 10 million vehicles globally, adding that the company aims to deepen collaboration with ecosystem partners to drive sustained innovation and technological breakthroughs in the years ahead.
