Gasgoo Munich-EYOU Robot signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with South Korea's Daedong Group in Shanghai on Oct. 27. The partners will jointly develop and field-test joint modules for agricultural robots, and plan to set up a joint venture to capture a larger share of the agricultural robotics market.

Under the agreement, EYOU Robot will handle the design, integration, testing, and production rollout of the robot joints. Daedong, for its part, will run field trials using its own agricultural robots, ensuring the joint modules integrate smoothly with the full robotic systems.
The companies are now laying the groundwork for a joint venture and a shared pilot production line, aiming to move the modules toward commercial manufacturing and sales. Details on equity structure, investment size, and production timelines remain under wraps.
Daedong is one of South Korea's leading farm-equipment makers, selling to more than 70 countries and regions. The group has been pushing deeper into agricultural robotics of late, field-testing autonomous farm robots and AI-powered field robots in greenhouses, polytunnels, and orchards.
EYOU Robot specializes in developing and manufacturing integrated robot joint modules. It has been scaling up capacity, broadening its product lineup, and expanding into overseas markets.
As farms demand more automation and intelligence, agricultural robots require joint modules that offer greater reliability, environmental resilience, and cost control than their industrial counterparts. The partnership extends EYOU Robot 's reach into agriculture, though the pace of commercialization will hinge on field-test results and mass-production readiness.
