FAW Group has shipped 1,600 Hongqi vehicles to Iraq, covering four models: the HS3, HS5, Ousado (H5) and HS7. The shipment includes both sedans and SUVs, with the order now entering the maritime delivery stage.

Order development and local market strategy
FAW Middle East Automobile Trading FZE worked with customers in Iraq on business discussions and proposals from May to July to secure the order. The four models target different consumer segments, and the expanded lineup is expected to give local partners more options for customer outreach and localized marketing.
China' s vehicle exports
The shipment comes amid growth in China' s vehicle exports. Data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show that monthly vehicle exports have exceeded 1 million units for four consecutive months since June, while new energy vehicles have accounted for more than half of exports over the same period.

FAW Middle East Automobile Trading FZE said it would coordinate with local partners on arrival, customs clearance and vehicle delivery, while following up on customer feedback and pursuing closer cooperation in market development and after-sales services.
