Gasgoo Munich- Following UBTECH's acquisition of Fenglong, the latter has established a wholly-owned subsidiary called New Fenglong, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence. By leveraging UBTECH's embodied intelligence technology and application strengths—combined with its own precision manufacturing expertise—Fenglong aims to advance the in-house development and scalable production of core hardware for embodied intelligence.
New Fenglong has structured its offerings into three product matrices. The first covers core components, including bionic facial servos, high-density servos (planetary, harmonic, cycloidal, and linear), cooling modules, and electronic skin. The second focuses on end-effectors, ranging from two-finger grippers and dexterous hands to ultra-humanoid bionic arms. The third includes peripheral components such as battery swapping cabinets and charging mounts.
Notably, the company's two-finger grippers and bionic facial servos have already entered mass production, with performance claims surpassing existing market peers. Meanwhile, high-power-density servos, dexterous hands, and ultra-humanoid bionic arms are slated for mass production in 2027. Cutting-edge technologies like liquid cooling modules and electronic skin are currently under simultaneous development.

Looking ahead, New Fenglong plans to gradually integrate UBTECH's embodied robotics businesses—including UWORLD and UMedicine—to expand into consumer and healthcare sectors.
UWORLD, UBTECH's consumer humanoid brand, is focused on creating ultra-bionic robots capable of deep emotional connections with humans. Its debut product, the U1 series full-size ultra-bionic humanoid robot, was released on June 30, 2026. It is designed for a wide range of scenarios, including emotional companionship, elderly care, reception services, and cultural exhibitions.
UMedicine, another UBTECH brand, targets the healthcare sector. Built on foundations in brain science and brain-inspired AI, it leverages artificial intelligence and novel sensor technologies to develop core products related to the brain, heart, and cognition. The brand provides brain health medical devices, smart rehabilitation products, big data platforms, and associated services.
To accelerate its R&D and industrialization goals, New Fenglong has appointed Dr. Li Yongjun as general manager to oversee the development, production, and sales of its product portfolio. Li brings over two decades of experience in motor and electronic control R&D and management. He previously held positions at Johnson Electric, Jinba Intelligence, Tuopu Group, and Midea Group, leading the development of numerous electromechanical products for the automotive, appliance, robotics, and aerospace sectors.
