The EAI robotics business hit a turning point in the first quarter of 2026, generating initial revenue and positive gross margins—laying the groundwork for scaled deployment. By April 30, FF had shipped 68 units, with momentum expected to accelerate in May as it pushes toward a target of 200 deliveries for its inaugural quarter. Cumulative shipments for 2026 are projected to top 1,500 units.
FF attributes this momentum to the ongoing expansion of its EAI robotics strategy, which includes education-centric applications, broader ecosystem development, and more than 1,200 paid pre-orders secured at launch. The company views the robotics unit as an efficient route to drive near-term commercialization and cash flow, while supporting long-term ecosystem growth.
On the compliance front, the FX Aegis quadruped robot has secured full certification in the U.S., following earlier approvals for its Futurist and Master humanoid models. As a result, all pre-delivered FX Aegis units can now be converted to official deliveries, clearing the way for continued expansion in the American market.
