The seven agreements cover critical areas including procurement of mass-production parts, engineering services, and intellectual property licensing. They systematically define terms for engineering scope, IP ownership, and after-sales systems. The bridge partner will provide engineering and technical support for the FX Super One throughout mass production and beyond.
Building on the FX Super One's progress, the parties agreed to cooperate on developing three potential models, including the FX 4, with plans to negotiate specifics later. This move marks the entry of FF's "EAI Global Industry Bridge Strategy" into a phase of scaled implementation.
FF said it is adhering to a "produce one, launch one, pre-research one" strategy. The goal is to drive parallel development and rolling updates across different market segments, boosting resource efficiency and product portfolio flexibility.
FF Founder and Co-CEO Jia Yueting called the agreement a significant milestone for the FX Super One on its path to mass production, pledging joint efforts with partners to ensure multiple models arrive on schedule. Meanwhile, FX CEO Max Ma highlighted plans to use a "four-light, four-fast, five-focus, five-empower" model to integrate the global supply chain and accelerate the large-scale execution of the bridge strategy.
FF believes the partnership will help combine China's expertise and supply chain in AI electric vehicles with U.S. strengths in R&D, engineering, and compliance to jointly tap the American market. The company aims to transfer technology from the FF 91, empowering FX models with its core AI and software capabilities to offer U.S. consumers a cost-effective AI electric vehicle option.
