Gasgoo.com (Shanghai July 31) - According to a post appearing on the Weibo account of the Chinese Communist Youth League's Jinzhou Committee, a fire occurred at Brilliance BMW's new factory in Shenyang's Tiexi District yesterday, auto.sina.com.cn reported today.
According to the Weibo feed, the factory's automobile painting hall went ablaze yesterday evening. 140 firefighters and 32 fire engines from eleven brigades were deployed to the scene. The fire was put out in about three hours. No casualties were reported.
Representatives from Brilliance BMW stated that the fire will not affect daily production at the plant.
