Ford Motor Research and Engineering(Nanjing) Co., Ltd. was established on April 13, 2007 to support Ford Motor’s global business in product development and sourcing.
The company consisted of two units: Research & Engineering Center(R&E) and China Sourcing Office (CSO). It was located in the Jiangning Economic & Technological Development Zone (JNDZ) near Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. The new entity is an integral part of Ford Motor Company's global R&D and component sourcing network.
