Gasgoo Munich- LUXEED, the new energy vehicle brand under Chery and Huawei, has officially named Guo Rui as its new Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. The appointment, approved by the board, places Guo at the helm of the company's operations and management.
Guo joined Huawei's Consumer Business in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer for Greater China. In August 2021, he became a founding member of the independent HONOR, subsequently serving as Senior Vice President, President of Brand Marketing, and Group CMO.

LUXEED revealed partial details of its new flagship MPV, the LUXEED V9. Positioned as the first flagship MPV under the Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance, the model will offer three interior color options: Ruxia Purple, Shaohua Apricot, and Chicha Orange.
According to filing documents with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the LUXEED V9 measures 5,359 mm long, 2,009 mm wide, and 1,879 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. Under the hood, it features Huawei's "Xue Xiao" 1.5T range-extender system, delivering a maximum engine power of 115 kW and a thermal efficiency of 43.23%. Fuel consumption drops to 4.44 liters per 100 km when the battery is depleted. Paired with dual motors and available with either LFP or NCM battery packs, the V9 boasts a CLTC combined range exceeding 1,250 km.
On the technology front, the V9's roof houses a high-spec LiDAR sensor, working alongside a 520-line LiDAR unit and seven millimeter-wave radars to create a comprehensive perception system. The vehicle supports L3-level highway assistance and door-to-door navigation capable of handling complex scenarios like roundabouts and toll gates. Its safety suite includes multi-directional collision avoidance. Chassis upgrades feature dual-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and road preview technology.
Stylistically, the V9 adopts Harmony lntelligent Mobility Alliance's "Riding the Wind" design language, featuring a closed front fascia and a continuous star-ring light strip. It debuts DLP projection headlights capable of displaying dynamic welcome patterns and custom light signatures. The side profile includes hidden door handles and multi-spoke chrome wheels, while the rear features a continuous crystal diamond taillight with the "LUXEED" badge embedded in the center.
