Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Dec 23) Letv holds the first session of Internet Eco Innovation Forum on 21 December. Among all the invited guests, a new name appears on Letv Auto’s top management list, which is Fu Zhenxing, former SAIC Electric Auto R&D Chief Engineer. He is now appointed as vice president of Letv Auto.
Fu, once serving as technologist in Ford and Chrysler, accumulated most of his working experience in USA. As a well-known technical expert in the auto industry, he mainly charged the development program of alternative energy vehicles in SAIC after returning to China, joining and guiding the whole development process from establishment of the program to the launching of products.
The Letv Auto Program, with the head quarter established in Silicon Valley and a R&D team of more than 400 engineers in North America, began in USA and continues to recruit talents. Until now, it has attracted a number of technologists and senior executives, including Ding Lei and Lv Zhengyu, from traditional auto companies.
Letv is active in the auto industry this year.On 20 November, BAIC Motor and Letv co-issued the first model of alternative energy vehiclecarrying Ecolink, a Letv auto-linked product. In the meantime, Aston Martin RapidS, a product carrying Letv auto-linked system and the result of the first round cooperation between the two companies in car networking technologies, will make its debut on the International Consumer Electronics Show recently.
