Gasgoo Munich- BAIC FOTON MOTOR Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Zhuoyu Technology Co., Ltd. (ZYT) have officially signed a strategic partnership agreement to advance high-level autonomous driving in commercial vehicles. Signed on October 8, the deal aims to accelerate the mass production and commercial rollout of intelligent driving technologies through deep collaboration.

Under the agreement, the partners will jointly develop intelligent driving solutions for heavy-duty trucks, light commercial vehicles, and autonomous logistics vehicles. ZYT will bring its expertise in model algorithms, multi-sensor fusion, and domain control hardware, while Foton Motor will handle vehicle control, chassis adaptation, and system integration. The collaboration will proceed in phases to drive technology iteration and mass production.
The partnership will initially focus on highway trunk line scenarios before expanding to complex environments like urban roads and national highways. Simultaneously, the companies aim to optimize the supply chain to deliver cost-effective, scalable intelligent driving products for commercial vehicles.
The collaboration spans a broad range of applications, including navigation-assisted driving for heavy trucks on highways and national roads, intercity highway NOA, and autonomous logistics Robovans. It also covers city NOA for light commercial vehicles, the promotion of high-level driving systems overseas, and pilot programs for L3/L4 intelligent connected vehicles. Furthermore, the two companies will work together on compliance applications for autonomous driving trials and expand into overseas markets such as the Middle East, South America, and Australia-New Zealand.

Its vehicles reach over 140 countries and regions, and the company has topped domestic commercial vehicle sales for 21 consecutive years, with cumulative sales exceeding 13 million units. ZYT, founded in 2016, is a mobile physical AI company that has built a unified mobile intelligence base capable of cross-vertical reuse. With full-stack in-house development and mass production experience in intelligent assisted driving, its core technologies cover native multimodal foundation models, multi-sensor fusion, and high-performance domain controllers.
Both parties emphasized that the partnership leverages their complementary strengths in vehicle manufacturing and AI technology. Moving forward, they plan to deepen technical collaboration and co-create products to drive the intelligent transformation of the commercial vehicle industry.
