Fulai New Material Delivers Over 30,000 Tactile Sensors to LinkerBot

Gasgoo Munich-Fulai New Material (stock code: 605488) announced on August 31 that it has delivered more than 30,000 tactile sensors to LinkerBot, signaling a shift in their strategic partnership toward large-scale deployment, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence.

The sensors delivered are primarily featured in LinkerBot’s flagship product, the LinkerBot O6 industrial dexterous hand. Built on Fulai New Material’s proprietary "Core-Sense Integration" architecture, the system tightly fuses high-precision sensing units with microprocessors. By establishing independent signal processing units at each fingertip, the technology achieves a leap from basic perception to "tactile intelligence TPU."

The two companies formalized a comprehensive strategic partnership in February, under which LinkerBot agreed to purchase 100,000 tactile sensor sets. With more than 30% of that order now fulfilled, deliveries are expected to accelerate further as Fulai ramps up mass production on its sensor lines.

Leveraging high-sensitivity tactile sensing, broad compatibility with flexible materials, and mass production capabilities, the company provides robots with a complete "tactile intelligence" foundation—spanning both hardware and software—including tactile data gloves and robotic sensor modules.

Beyond LinkerBot, Daili Sense and Zhongke Guiji have recently partnered with Fulai New Material for bulk tactile sensor purchases. Meanwhile, in the realm of data acquisition, the company has teamed up with Haocun Tech to co-develop new data gloves equipped with high-precision tactile sensing modules.

At the World Robot Conference, Fulai New Material and Haocun Tech unveiled their next-generation tactile data glove. The device deeply fuses "gesture recognition" with "tactile perception." By embedding high-density sensing units across the fingertips, finger pads, and palms—with hundreds of individual sensing points—it supports full-hand 3D force perception. Its flexible, curved design minimizes restriction, ensuring natural comfort even during prolonged, large-scale data collection sessions.
