Gasgoo Munich- GAC Group has released its production and sales figures for April 2026. Total sales for the month reached 121,000 units, edging up 3.88% from a year earlier. New energy vehicles were the standout performer, with deliveries climbing to 54,605 units — a 57.39% surge.

Performance diverged across brands. GAC Toyota moved 56,500 units in April, gaining 13.45% year-over-year, while GAC Aion sold 38,000 vehicles — a 62.48% jump. GAC LC’s commercial vehicle division surged 465.93% to 515 units, and Wuyang-Honda motorcycle sales climbed 34.03% to 68,800 units. On the other hand, GAC Honda slumped 72.42% to 5,100 units, and GAC Trumpchi slipped 15.57% to 20,800 units.
At the recent 2026 Beijing Auto Show, GAC Group showcased its own-brand fleet featuring Trumpchi, Aion, Hyper, and the new premium marque "Qijing." The automaker unveiled five new models and highlighted its latest technological innovations.
Looking back at the first quarter, GAC Group’s cumulative sales approached 380,000 units, up 2.38% from a year ago. Own-brand sales hit 166,200 units, growing by more than 42%, while overseas sales for own brands surpassed 42,000 units — an 86% increase. Additionally, during its 2026 GAC Tech Day, the company officially rolled out a suite of innovations, including the new "Xingyuan Power" and "Xingling Architecture 4.0."
