Shanghai (Gasgoo)- GAC Toyota Motor Co.,Ltd (GAC Toyota) announced that its delivery sales reached 48,788 units in January, increasing 21.5% compared with the same period of last year.
The January sales of hybrid models, Camry Hybrid and Levin Hybrid, surpassed 5,000 units in total, surging 48.7% year on year and accounting for 11% of the company's total sales.
Last year, GAC Toyota's annual sales slightly increased 0.7% from a year earlier to 440,390 units, exceeding its annual sales target of 430,000 units. The automaker aims to complete an annual sales goal of 500,000 units this year. The target sales growth is up to 13.5% which is much higher than the sales growth of 2017.
