Gasgoo Munich-On August 31, Galbot Robotics will start pre-orders for its first small bipedal humanoid robot. The "Galbot ET1" pre-orders begin on September 3.
The Galbot ET1 is an autonomous humanoid agent capable of self-learning. It debuted at the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC). The ET1 is 1,230 mm tall and weighs 30 kg. Its exterior uses flexible materials for safety. It incorporates motor solutions from Unitree.

The ET1 runs on Galbot’s proprietary AstraBrain-WBC. This is a universal "cerebellum" foundation model. It was trained on 100,000 hours of human motion data. The dataset blends high-precision motion capture and video retargeting. The system functions without new motion capture data. It interacts with humans in real-time. It identifies motion trajectories to learn and replicate actions.
During the WRC, the ET1 interacted with the crowd. It demonstrated social skills alongside "Xiao Gai." "Xiao Gai" is the model featured in the Spring Festival Gala. The ET1 matched its partner's rhythm in real-time. The two exchanged banter and jokes. The ET1 also interacted with other robot forms.
Powered by the Galaxy Star Brain, the ET1 commands a Galbot G1. The G1 is stationed in a retail setting. It fetches and delivers drinks using natural language instructions.
The industry has been constrained by a "one machine, one model" mindset. Intelligence was locked into a single chassis. This limited skill migration across different bodies. The Galaxy Star Brain aims to change this paradigm. It enables "one-brain, multi-capability" functionality. A universal brain handles task comprehension and action planning. It applies to bipedal and wheeled forms. They execute tasks in homes and industrial settings.
