Geely Holding Group's 2025 sales surpass 4.11 million units
On January 9, Geely Holding Group released its full-year sales results for 2025. The Group reported total vehicle sales of 4,116,321 units, representing a 26% year-on-year increase.
Sales of new energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 2,293,099 units, up 58% year-on-year, bringing the Group's NEV penetration rate to 56%. This marks the first time Geely Holding's annual sales have exceeded 4 million units, while also extending its streak of rapid growth for the fifth consecutive year.
Geely Automobile recorded full-year sales of 3,024,567 units, up 39% year-on-year. NEV sales totaled 1,687,767 units, surging 90% year-on-year and exceeding the company's annual target.
By brand, Geely Galaxy achieved annual sales of 1.24 million units, representing a 150% year-on-year increase. Lynk & Co reported annual sales of over 350,000 units, up 23% year-on-year. ZEEKR delivered 224,000 vehicles for the full year. In December alone, monthly deliveries exceeded 30,000 units, while the ZEEKR 9X became the top-selling large SUV priced above CNY 500,000 in China.
GAC International, Grab enter strategic partnership to advance EV and mobility ecosystem in Southeast Asia
On January 7, GAC International and Grab, Southeast Asia's leading super app, jointly announced the establishment of a deep strategic partnership.
More than a major commercial agreement, the partnership represents a key milestone in GAC Group's global expansion strategy. It signals GAC's transition from traditional vehicle exports to an integrated“products + services + data”ecosystem-oriented overseas expansion model.
Under the agreement, the two parties will leverage their respective strengths in new energy vehicle R&D and manufacturing and localized mobility ecosystem services, integrating resources and driving collaborative innovation.
GAC International will provide its high-performance, intelligent electric vehicles, while Grab will contribute its extensive user base, broad service network, and deep local market insights to jointly develop green mobility solutions tailored to Southeast Asian markets.
The partners have set an ambitious goal to jointly promote 20,000 units of GAC high-performance electric vehicles across six key Southeast Asian countries within the next two years.
NIO Inc.'s firefly enters Singapore market
On January 8, NIO Inc.'s firefly officially announced its entry into the Singapore market, with its first right-hand-drive model now open for ordering. The brand's first Singapore showroom is scheduled to open by the end of January.
Previously, in November 2025, firefly confirmed that its right-hand-drive model had entered mass production, with the first batch designated for shipment to Singapore.
According to the company, since its market launch, firefly has rapidly accelerated its global expansion. The brand completed its first European delivery in less than four months, setting a record for NIO's fastest overseas market rollout.
To date, firefly has commenced deliveries in the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium, and is set to begin test drives and deliveries in Denmark, Greece, Austria, Portugal, and Luxembourg in the near future.
