1. Gotion High-Tech Unveils New Battery, Digital Energy and Green Logistics Solutions
New products target low-altitude aviation, zero-carbon energy management and cross-border electric freight.
·On September 21, Gotion High-Tech unveiled three innovations at its dedicated event during the World Manufacturing Convention 2026 in Hefei:
oThe Xingchen high-power battery for low-altitude aircraft.
oAn integrated new energy logistics solution for routes connecting China, Europe and Africa.
oThe GotionGuard-ZERO digital cloud platform for zero-carbon energy.
·Developed for low-altitude aviation, the Xingchen cylindrical battery uses a 46-series large cylindrical cell, an all-tab design and a hybrid solid-liquid electrolyte system.
·The company said the battery delivers cell-level energy density exceeding 330 Wh/kg and 850 Wh/L. At below 25% state of charge, it supports continuous discharge at 6C and pulse discharge at 12C.
·The battery pack is designed to prevent thermal propagation and supports both fast charging and battery swapping, enabling energy replenishment in less than five minutes.
·The AI-powered GotionGuard-ZERO platform integrates energy planning, resource aggregation, intelligent dispatching and market trading. Its applications include renewable energy management, energy storage monitoring, factory energy management, charging and battery-swapping operations, virtual power plants, electricity trading and carbon-asset management.
·Gotion High-Tech's cross-border logistics solution uses a mobile energy-storage, charging and battery-swapping system connected to an intelligent cloud platform. It employs AI-based load forecasting and dispatching to coordinate batteries and transport capacity.
·In 2026, Gotion High-Tech plans to work with GPM and other partners to develop a 2,600-kilometer green logistics corridor between Europe and Africa and a 2,300-kilometer corridor between China and Vietnam.
2. Hongqi Opens Presales for the Tiangong 07
The electric vehicle starts at 189,900 yuan before limited-time incentives.
·On September 21, FAW Group's Hongqi brand opened presales for the Tiangong 07, offering three variants priced from 189,900 yuan to 219,900 yuan. Limited-time benefits reduce the effective prices to between 169,900 yuan and 199,900 yuan.
·The vehicle measures 5 meters in length and has a 3-meter wheelbase. Its cabin features an 8.88-inch instrument display, a 17.3-inch central screen, a Qualcomm 8397 chip and an 18-speaker Bose audio system.
·The Tiangong 07 is equipped with a 384-line variable-focus lidar and Hongqi's Sinan Intelligent Driving 5.0 system, supporting highway and urban navigation assistance and multiple automated-parking functions.
·All variants use an 800-volt architecture and silicon-carbide technology. Battery options include 75 kWh and 85 kWh, with CLTC ranges of 640 km, 730 km or 680 km, depending on the configuration.
·Hongqi said charging from 10% to 80% takes no more than 12 minutes. The single-motor versions produce up to 340 kW, while the dual-motor version delivers 770 N·m of torque and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
3. Zelos Opens Its First European RoboVan Experience Center
The permanent facility will allow autonomous logistics vehicles to operate in a working port environment.
·Zelos recently opened its first European RoboVan Experience Center at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges in Belgium.
·Unlike a temporary demonstration, the center will remain open for long-term use. Zelos RoboVans will operate regularly along the port's K102 route.
·The facility will allow logistics operators, port stakeholders and industry partners to experience and assess the company's Level 4 map-free autonomous logistics technology in a real port environment.
Zelos plans to use the port's logistics and industrial settings to further evaluate the RoboVan in applications such as factory transfers and internal port transportation.
