Li Auto joins CCCEU as Europe push gathers pace

On Feb. 24, 2026, the China Chamber of Commerce to the EU (CCCEU) said Li Auto had been admitted as a full member following unanimous board approval and will join its automotive working group.

Based in Brussels near key EU institutions, the chamber represents more than 1,000 Chinese-funded companies across Europe and serves as a bridge for China-EU trade and investment.

Membership gives Li Auto a more direct channel to track European policy and market trends, while also supporting localized R&D cooperation and partnerships.

MINIEYE partners with DST and Gecko Motors to speed autonomous delivery rollout

MINIEYE has formed a strategic partnership with Ground Iron Green Technology (DST) and Gecko Motors to accelerate the commercialization of vehicle-grade autonomous delivery vans, the company said in a WeChat post.

The collaboration combines MINIEYE's in-house L4 autonomous driving stack and mass-production experience with Gecko Motors' vehicle R&D and manufacturing capabilities, alongside DST's logistics operations and market expertise.

The partners say the model aims to cut logistics costs and provide a scalable template for wider smart-logistics deployment.

Spirit AI raises nearly 2 billion yuan in fresh funding

On Feb. 24, Spirit AI said it had completed two consecutive funding rounds, raising nearly 2 billion yuan in total, highlighting growing investor interest in embodied intelligence and next-generation robotics in China.

The proceeds will be used to scale its core embodied AI models, expand real-world data pipelines and deepen collaboration with industrial partners.

Founded in February 2024, the company develops general-purpose embodied intelligence models for robotics. Its in-house VLA model powers the Moz1 humanoid robot, which features 26 degrees of freedom, high power-density force-control joints and high-speed whole-body control algorithms, enabling a 1:1 payload-to-weight ratio, according to the company.
