Ningbo Port's Automobile Exports Exceed RMB 36.9 Billion in First Seven Months, New Energy Vehicles Account for Over 80%
According to statistics from Ningbo Customs, in the first seven months of 2026, automobile exports through Ningbo Port reached RMB 36.962 billion in value and 368,800 units in volume, up 68% and 72.99% yearonyear, respectively. Among them, new energy vehicle (NEV) exports reached RMB 30.034 billion in value and 263,500 units in volume, representing year-on-year increases of 98.55% and 100%, respectively, and accounting for 81% of the total value of automobile exports.
In terms of export markets, Brazil, the European Union and the United Arab Emirates remained the top three destinations by export value for automobiles through Ningbo Port. Meanwhile, emerging markets such as Jordan and ASEAN saw a surge in export activity, further diversifying the market footprint.
