NIO delivers 100,000th all-new ES8
On April 23, William Li, Founder, Chairman and CEO of NIO, delivered the 100,000th all-new ES8 at the NIO Future Science City Delivery Center in Beijing to Jiang Zheyuan, Founder and Chairman of Noetix Robotics.
Since deliveries began, the all-new ES8 reached the 100,000-unit milestone in just 215 days, setting a new record in China’s premium passenger vehicle segment priced above RMB 400,000. In March 2026, the ES8 recorded 16,255 retail sales, ranking No.1 in both the large SUV segment and the RMB 400,000+ category for four consecutive months. In Beijing, one out of every two large SUVs sold is an ES8.
Launched in September 2025, the model features the NX9031 chip with over 1,000 TOPS computing power, three LiDAR units, and one 4D millimeter-wave radar. It runs NIO’s World Model (NWM), enabling point-to-point navigation-assisted driving across diverse scenarios, including urban roads, campuses, parking, and charging. The ES8 is powered by a dual-motor system with a maximum output of 520 kW and is equipped with ternary lithium batteries supplied by CATL.
Desay SV, NVIDIA to launch new autonomous driving solution
Desay SV and NVIDIA will jointly unveil a new intelligent driving solution at the Auto China 2026. The solution is built on the NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor accelerated computing platform and leverages NVLink interconnect technology to address challenges in developing L3/L4 autonomous driving systems, with potential applications extending to embodied AI and edge computing.
The system adopts a dual DRIVE AGX Thor SoC architecture integrated with NVLink and a full-stack ecosystem, enabling stable direct interconnection and overcoming traditional multi-chip communication bottlenecks through hardware-level synergy. It operates entirely on-device without reliance on cloud computing, ensuring higher real-time performance, data security, and system reliability.
With NVLink connecting two AGX Thor SoCs, the platform can deliver up to 4,000 FP4 TFLOPS of computing power, supporting high-speed navigation, full-scenario urban driving, and autonomous parking, providing a production-ready, automotive-grade computing foundation for L3/L4 deployment.
Noetix Robotics partners with JD.com to expand robotics user base
Noetix Robotics has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with JD.com to collaborate across product design, user operations, and channel expansion, aiming to grow its user base to over one million within the next three years.
As a leading company in consumer-grade humanoid robotics, Noetix Robotics previously partnered with JD.com during the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala, where its robots were showcased in JD MALL offline stores, significantly boosting sales. The new agreement elevates the partnership from initial trials to a long-term strategic collaboration.
The two parties will jointly advance initiatives across product development, service systems, and distribution channels to accelerate commercialization and market penetration.
