Xiaomi EV to Enter the European Market in 2027

On Sept. 3, Xiaomi officially announced that its EV business will enter European markets, including Germany, in 2027. The same day, at IFA 2026 in Berlin, Xiaomi EV signed memorandums of understanding with its first eight major German auto dealer groups.

These dealers bring decades of experience in Germany and across Europe, along with deep expertise in operating premium automotive brands. Some have been in business for more than a century.

As part of product validation, Xiaomi's upcoming overseas models will undergo high-speed and functional testing across seven major test facilities in Sweden, Germany, Spain and Italy, including the winter testing grounds in Arjeplog and the Nürburgring.

AITO M9 Tops 30,000 Deliveries in 12 Weeks

Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance announced on Sept. 4 that deliveries of the all-new AITO M9 surpassed 30,000 units in just 12 weeks.

The model officially launched on May 27, 2026, with first deliveries starting June 13. Deliveries have continued to accelerate, reaching 10,000 units in three weeks, 20,000 in seven weeks and 30,000 in 12 weeks.

Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance said the all-new AITO M9 has posted an average transaction price of RMB 600,000 and ranked No. 1 in sales among models priced above RMB 500,000 for two consecutive months, in June and July. Third-party data shows that the M9 recorded retail sales of 9,639 units in July, topping its price segment.

By early July 2026, cumulative deliveries of the AITO M9 lineup had already surpassed 300,000 units.

Voyah Dream 9 Skips Traditional Launch Event

On Sept. 4, Lu Fang, chairman and Party secretary of Voyah Technology Co., Ltd., announced that the new flagship MPV, the Voyah Dream 9, will skip the industry-standard offline launch event ahead of its presale start on Sept. 5.

After careful discussion, Lu said the team decided to call off not the launch itself, but the unnecessary marketing hype surrounding it.

"Before we tell people how good the Dream 9 is, we want users to experience it first and hear what they have to say. Let users decide whether it's really good enough."
